China’s Exclusive Agent of FTIR Remote Open Path Monitor
FTIR Remote Open Path Monitor (OP-FTIR) is the most advanced technology in the world, which can actively measure toxic, harmful and explosive compounds and gaseous pollutants. It can scan the air pollution in a large range, covering the range of 2~3km2 at a time, and detect more than 350 kinds of inorganic and organic compounds. It is mainly composed of infrared light source, interferometer, sample cell, detector, various kinds of infrared reflectors, telescope, auto positioner, control circuit board and so on. The system is faster and more accurate than other measurement technologies.
EMCUS’s RAM2000 G2 is a new FTIR remote open path monitoring system, which can realize the continuous unattended real-time monitoring of air pollution in a large range of air pollution. The system can detect and quantify hundreds of air pollution factors in real time, and the detection limit can reach ppb (1/1000000000).
The system can be divided into two types: single station active monitoring and passive monitoring. The principle of single station active monitoring is that a harmless infrared energy beam is emitted from the launch system through the Newton telescope and reaches the reflection device in the distance. The reflector reflects the infrared light to the detector's sample cell, and reaches the detector by the interference beam containing sample information after the sample cell, and then transforms it into a signal spectrum by Fourier transform. The spectrum is processed into the absorption spectrum related to the product concentration and the beam path. The chemical concentration will be obtained from the regression analysis of absorption spectra. Passive monitoring is the replacement of distant infrared energy with the energy of chimney, sky or other sources.

Other components of RAM2000 G2 system
A, auto positioner
RAM2000 G2 can be matched with auto positioner, providing a wide range scan measurement, using a launch / receiving host, matching multiple mirrors, auto positioner controlled by software system, auto multi direction transformation and counterposition. It is suitable for boundary monitoring or multi path monitoring of surface pollution source.
B, cryocooler
The system can choose liquid nitrogen auto filling system (LN2) or Stirling cryocooler.
C, weather station
The weather data collected by the weather station can be integrated with the RAM2000 G2 system. With wind speed and wind direction data to draw the pollution wind rose map, these weather data and pollutant monitoring data can be integrated and analyzed to provide the judgment of the source of pollutant and diffusion model.
